I thought i would try the t pin idea i picked some up today. there are pluses and minuses.
Pluses:
On the sidewall all i need is one pin to keep up a piece of the foam.
The pins are Really cheap.
Minuses:
I am using them on drywall and they are a pain to push in with my thumbs, i tried...
Wow tried double sided duct tape and it sucks, so does that foam tape, i don't think i am going to be able to do it with the tape.
I know there is tubetak that auralex sells, is that the same thing as something i can get from a hardware store??
I have some foot by foot tiles i want to mount on the wall, I don't want to use a spray or glue. I was wondering if there is some kind of double sided tape that can do the job??
I tried carpet tape, it won't work
someone said try double sided duct tape, i am going to pick some up later today...
FIXED it lol, just had to uninstall everything and reinstall everything! i hate doing that... it erases all my presets and everything, it sucks, but it works now! :)

Hello everyone, I am using a mbox, i just wanted to know where in protools do you have anything where you can set the levels of what is coming in, where you can see a reading of -10db, -18db, or whatever you want the setting to be?

Decent i mean like $200 for the pre, phantom, and compressor
It stinks b/c i already have the pre and phatom in the mbox i just want the compressor in the chain before it gets recorded.
Thanks guys...
I was looking into preamps and compressors do they make something that has all of that in one with phantom power?
If so any good ones for a decent price?
isn't those plug ins after the audio is recorded? I was talking about before on its way to being recorded.
If not let me know i will check them out defaintly
I usually just hook my mbox right up to the mic turn the phanton on and go. I don't have a hardware mixer or anything else.

Here is a new-b-o question. I use the mbox preamp for my mic do i have to get a preamp too if i get a compressor? Or how would the hook ups/signal chain work?
doesn't the mic have to go to the pre then the compressor then...
I am using mbox with protools. All I record is vocals, do you think i need a compressor in the recording process before it hits the mbox? If so any decent ones for a good price?
