That's good to know. Ansar isn't returning emails. Among other caps to try, I was able to get a 3.3uf CPA Ansar. We'll see how that works. Philgood, do you have any pics showing where these caps should live? It seems like creativity will be key, a quality I have very little of as of late.

It looks like the tubestore.com source for the Ansar caps have dried up. The store is still there, but they're out of stock and "don't plan to offer Ansar caps anymore". Does anyone know of another source? I've tried a few but their overseas.

Does anyone know where I can find a replacement tube for this mic? Mine's going bad. Websites tell me its a 6C315P tube, but there seems to be no info or availability. Is there a equivalent number I should look up? If I can eventually find a replacement, what brand would be a good match?
