does anyone use ez drummer with cubase

Hi I'm using ezdrummer with SX3 and I don't have the problems you have. I'm not sure about 'copy and paste'. All I do is hit F11 to call up ezdrummer, listen to the parts there, then drag them into the midi track, straight from ezdrummer. It works really easily for me, which doesn't help you I...

what to do with $15k? mildly confused

Sell all your gear to me for $1k. Then you've got $16k to spend, which opens up a whole new world of purchasing opportunities.

    Bad Moon Rising

I wish I hadn't listened to that.......I feel even worse about the crap I do now :o That is truly fantastic. In the UK that song is a bit of a joke - kind of like the archetypal song your dad dances to at a wedding - but that was a great version, brilliantly played and recorded. My stuff's...

OK, I recorded 'proper' bass on this now. Is it any better ? I have the recording and mixing skills of a chimp at the moment. :o http://www.lightningmp3.com/live/file.php?fid=8577

    I'd appreciate some constructive criticism

That's a bad sign  The drums are programmed - I think it probably sounds midi because I played the bass part on my keyboard. I don't know why I just didn't play bass on it - I quite liked the sound, but since your comment, I realise it sounds crap. I'll re-do the bass.

    I'd appreciate some constructive criticism

Hi fellas I'm still very new to recording, but starting to learn I hope. I'd appreciate someone giving this song a listen and giving me their thoughts regarding the mix. I've got low end gear, and appropriate ambitions, but it would be good to get some fresh ears on it, and some good advice...

    Mark Knopfler

I know the bloke who wrote the lyrics to Romeo and Juliet (and I don't mean William Shakespeare). His name is Martin Spellman and he wrote it as a poem to his girlfriend, but thought the words were quite nice and sent it off somewhere, and it got picked up Dire Straights. I used to live a few...

How to choose what's best for my voice?

Can you find a place where you can rent mics ? Or alternatively, find a studio that has a good range of mics for you to try out. You'll need to pay for the priveledge, but if you're spending big bucks on a Neumann I think it would be a good investment. On the other hand, I don't actually know...

Would anyone be interested in a program?

The features you're describing (apart from the press kit) are standard CRM - Customer Relationship Management. Having said that, a musician-based one is quite a good niche - apart from the fact that most musicians I know either don't have any money or are too disorganised to use a program to...
