    I have an unbearable amount of line noise sometimes i can get rid of it by fidgeting with the connection of the mic to the cable sometimes i can hear a radio station in the signal interference please help! (anyone who's had similar experiences)

    vocal recording on a pc, using cakewalk

    any hints/tips? should the mic that finale sells be adequate? --so far it seems to be a pain to use--to be at the proper distance and input levels to prevent clipping/distortion--and i wonder about better quality overall thanks for any advice
