CAD 4-Piece Drum Microphone Pack - I use a mic in the kick one on the snare and I had a cheap overhead that killed the sound - as you mentioned correctly. I just bought a CAD M177 Cardioid Condenser Microphone for the overhead. I hope that clears thing up.

Let me explain my "freak out" comment - I have read people freaking out when talking about the pod... so, I just knew it was coming... I will try through the amp next time to see if at least the guitar is better sounding - I also need to upgrade my vocal mics... thanks

Ok - don't freak out, but I do record my guitar tracks directly through a line 6 Pod 2.0.... do you think it would make that big of difference recording it from the amp - via a mic?

nice job - the guitars do sound great!! Question for you? You mentioned that you recorded the guitar tracks 4 times... did you record them 4 times or clone the tracks? And then what did you do with the tracks? Do you pan each guitar track a bit different from the others to create more body...
