load instrumental into one track... select the red little "R" to record on another track.... connect headphones, press record....

Reverb for 1, and EQ... The "oomph" of the kick is very low in Freq... around 50-60hz. Boosting here will "add" that oomph.....BUT BE WARNED.... ..lol.. one of the most valuable lessons Ive learned here is to mix "Subtractivly". This means that rather than boosting 6db. at 55hz......boost...
