    Punch IN/Overdub in AA ?

yea there shouldnt be a "pop", unless the cutoff is kind of sudden or dramatic, you should zoom in real close and envelope a fade at the end of the block, to do away with the "pop".. *I'm not sure if it "automatically" crossfades, im sure someone around here should know how to set that up...

    Punch IN/Overdub in AA ?

Well.. In CEP 2.1 there is a little "boxing glove" like mitt looking button... on the top row of buttons in Multitrack view... You can select however much you want to "punch" by highlighting, and then pressing the little boxing glove... It will take the selected portion of the waveform and...

    Thickening vocals

Its funny how we can use many different descriptive adjetives to describe mny different things...:D If the vocal sounds to "thin" adding a couple dbs at like 175hz could give a little more "weight"..... Damn...gotta run......will post later with some other thoughts... Cheers!!! to no...

    Stereo Expansion - Pan/Expand Effect

Sometimes.....(sometimes) I use the "Max Expansion" effect on chorus or hook vocals...kinda "spreads them out".... For panning, Im sure we'd all recommend using either the individual pan settings per track in multitrack, or the envelopes....more "hands on"...

    laptop troubles

Cool! Sometimes when you can "tell" your computer is lagging, (like it skips, freezes for a second, basically chokes) you may notice that this "backround mixing" bar is a little depleted. Many a 20+ multitrack session have had to repeatedly click "stop".. and then press "F5" to Refresh the...

    laptop troubles

the simplest solution may be the right one ...hopefully  Right click on the`little green bar on the bottom left in MultiTrack.. Its the mixing bar or sumtin...there should be a "mix priority" when you right click on it...it should be at normal...or maybe a step higher. Hope this helps..

Why Not Start Your own record company?

Great thread so far... Why would you sign with a major label, to make $250,000 after selling a million, when you could go indie and make a million from selling only 100,000? (outta the trunk theory) The business of music is one of the toughest out there I feel...just stay on top of your ish...

    CD Tracks from Single Wave?

Thanks for the quick response lp, but I believe that youve misunderstood my question. I already have the single, stereo waveform...it can be burned as is, only it is a 2 hour long track... In Edit View: Can I "mark" on the long waveform where the tracks should be split? (i.e. different...

    CD Tracks from Single Wave?

Hey all, I recently (painstakingly) transferred a 2 hour radio show from cassette, to .wav with CEP for some dude. How can I "mark" on the single Waveform where I would see fit for the "tracks" to be seperated to be burned on CD??? Is this possible?
