    Triton Sucks...

sit in front of a triton and do a few hours every week for a few months, and learn all the functions, and the triton is a great tool. sit in front of a triton and just bang the keys and dont learn how to do anything and use all 3 of your brain cells, and you have 98% of all aspiring hip hop...

    my rap home setup

    1. i dont like mackie mixers to start 2. many people wouldnt consider mackie mic pres to be "professional" recording material. but i will agree with the idea that mackie mic pres are better than most all pres on mixing boards, and even better than a few external units. i want something...

    passive/powered?

thats the logic i was using -- too many variables to know if its 100% accurate or not the powered monitors im looking at is either Mackie 824's, or possibly Event 6's (although i doubt i would get those, i was scared away from event after finding out how poor the bass was on the 20/20's!)...

    passive/powered?

which monitors are more accurate? passive (needs separate amp) or powered (biamped)? ive heard conflicting views, and wanted to know what info you all had to offer thanks

    Keyboards with sequencer?

do yourself a favor, and research the Korg Karma. it has the same sounds as the triton and trinity (although these sounds are more "warm" or "oily" -- which happens to be all the rage right now) i wouldnt know how good the sequencer is, i use the MPC. email me if you have any questions about...

    Triton Sucks...

ive gained this opinion thru use of the piece. 90% of the big name producers in rap have one, and therefore everyone feels that theyre "tight" and can make professional beats if you sit them in front of one. DITNOJ: i was referring to the fact that most all of these people only use the presets...

    Triton Sucks...

forget the triton -- the sounds are so played out because 1) everyone and theyre momma owns one and 2) none of them know how to freak it (i.e. LAYER it)!
