thats the logic i was using -- too many variables to know if its 100% accurate or not the powered monitors im looking at is either Mackie 824's, or possibly Event 6's (although i doubt i would get those, i was scared away from event after finding out how poor the bass was on the 20/20's!)...

which monitors are more accurate? passive (needs separate amp) or powered (biamped)? ive heard conflicting views, and wanted to know what info you all had to offer thanks

do yourself a favor, and research the Korg Karma. it has the same sounds as the triton and trinity (although these sounds are more "warm" or "oily" -- which happens to be all the rage right now) i wouldnt know how good the sequencer is, i use the MPC. email me if you have any questions about...

ive gained this opinion thru use of the piece. 90% of the big name producers in rap have one, and therefore everyone feels that theyre "tight" and can make professional beats if you sit them in front of one. DITNOJ: i was referring to the fact that most all of these people only use the presets...

forget the triton -- the sounds are so played out because 1) everyone and theyre momma owns one and 2) none of them know how to freak it (i.e. LAYER it)!
