I got my US-122 yesterday and without knowing very much I got it hooked up and the drivers installed no problem... I couldnt figure out the Cubasis program fast enough and didn't wanna mess with it so I tried it out with Cool Edit Pro.... I dont really have any experience with CEP either...

I got my bass delivered today.. its nicer than I expected... Beautiful woods and finish and descent sounding pickups, and its perfect for guitar players wanting something cheap for recording purposes.. I'm very satisfied....;)

Its made out of some good materials.. Basswood body, hardrock maple neck, string through body bridge, descent sounding pickups (sounds like they're descent anyway) and the finish looks cool.... What the hell, cant really go wrong, as long as its not a pig...LOL I have a good feeling...:)

Ok, I thought I'd try what you just said, I have to change my strings anyway... On the 12th fret of my ESP M-II Deluxe with 9's, I played the B string, then played the note 5 frets up to hear the note/sound, then I bent the string up 5 frets to get the exact note on the 17th fret.... No...

I'll probably play it through my Boss VF-1 multi effects, it has quite a few bass effects/settings.... Might even try it through my POD XT see what that sounds like... :eek: :)

I'm sure it depends on how much you do it... I do it once in awhile, I dont beat on it and do a 3 hour bombing of Pearl Harbor... But it stays in tune pretty nicely.. Its a Jackson Fusion XL, it looks like a soloist, but it has a Les Paul scale neck, 24 3/4 as opposed to 25 1/2, I think...

I've never had any problems with my Floyd Rose equiped Jackson going out of tune after massive, totally flopping stringed, dive bomb whammeys... I've even expermented, tuning up with my tuner, then after dive bombing, putting it back on the tuner and still being in perfect tune... Now pulling...

I'm not a Fender fan either... Anyway I already ordered the Peavey, and it should be here Wednesday... Hopefully it will rock.... I'll report back with an honest review... :)

I'd forget the piano strings, your amp gives you more of your tone than the string guage... Pickups too... I couldn't imagine playing that heavy of strings, just going from 9's to 10's was a bit uncomfortable.. I guess it depends on the style of guitar you play, I do alot of bending and 12's...

Why would anyone want such heavy strings? :confused:

Cool song dude, It reminds me of alot of different styles all wrapped into one... Kinda like "Emerson, Lake and Palmer" and or "Yes" doing a new age/rock/fusion thing with a bit of "Kansas" orchestration to it... I like it alot, very nice....

She has a beautiful voice, very rich and full with lots of vibrato... You should be very proud... If she's not, she should be singing professionally... I've always loved that song too, good choice.... :)
