is it possible to record in a different program and just use pro tools le for mixing the project even if you dont have any pro tools hardware?

is there any way to prevent latency at all? or if not is there a way to recover from it? cause my acoustic guitars are not lined up with the beat after i throw on a waves(plugin) effect on it.

What do i do after after i create a beat in fl, how will i be able to mix it in samplitude? say the beat in fl is 4 minutes long and i have 15 different sounds, do i have to solo each instrument and render each one seperate in fl (which each sound is gonna last for 4 minutes since the beat is 4...

does samplitude not allow direct x plugin automation? because i only see it for vst automation.

what is the difference between TDM plugins vs other plugins? are they better than other plugins? also can they only be used in pro tools software? Has anyone every tried using the eventide reverb plugin before? if so how good is it and is it better than the waves Rverb and Trueverb?

whats the best way to set up the presonus firepod cause the manual doesnt really explain it as much. and where should i plug in my mic at? in the slot that says mic/instrument or the slots that say mic/line (i only have a mic to plug in for now). is it best to set the gain up until the red light...

damn i already installe the presonus without uninstalling the card. do i jus still uninstall the soundblaster and will the presonus become my soundcard?

i bought a presonus firepod today. my question is is my presonus now my sound card? and do i uninstall the sound blaster audigy after installing the presonus?

the presonus firepod comes with cubase LE, so does this mean it can only be used with the cubase program and no other program like acid or samplitude?
