    It is possible to run more than one Delta 44 card. I think you can run up to 4, giving you 16 I/O [or 8 stereo pairs]... Just make sure they aren't sharing IRQ.

    What type of muffling are you using on the bass drum? And what are the dimensions?? I use a pillow so that it's touching the batter and resonant head at the same time, but not toally killing the resonance of both heads. And I keep the batter head medium tension -- not too right, not too loose...

    Haha, thanks man. I play with ProMark 5A wooden tip sticks. So the 5A's are on the lighter side which won't put too much meat into the cymbal. And I'm not too hard of a hitter anyway.
