I got the UNDO to work again...But the buttons even with sprey is a no-go. There is a authorized TASCAM repair shop here in Los ANgeles. Gonna get it fixed. If it costs me even a few hundred, it is worth it to me.

I do this all the time. I Personally worry about the quality of the recording first & THEN I put it to video. Your music SHOULD come first IMO. I record on a TASCAM DP24 at home. So I can take my jolly sweet time. Even when I cut tracks in the studio, I don't necessarily want to worry about...

Never mind guys....Looks like it doesn't work that way... I found a repair shop to take a look at my TASCAM DP24....Better off just repairing it as I know what it does...

I have one if the first TASCAM DP24 300 units sold and it is on it's last legs. My ONLY concern is I use MIDI with my keyboard workstation KORG PA4X...it is an integral part of my process. Does USB/MIDI work fine on these units as far as syncing? I have held to this unit bcause of MIDI...

Think as if you were singing live...You would use proper mic technique...I go through the same thing & I am a tenor. Mix, in your head while recording...meaning you should not need to ride the levels on mixdown because you had perfect mic tednique... I am sure in OPERA it is even more pronounced

Yes it is a Hard Disk Recorder with sliders...You fire it up and can record...Sometimes I will mix on Pro Tools to automate volume changes, but my mix was dialed in so I just went from there.. I appreciate the good word...Thanks

Hey this is Sabbathy for sure...I wonder what a really HARD synth PATCH would sound like in parts of this tune with those great electrics. Of course you couldn't trample on your mix. Or a couple counter melodies with really dark strings somewhere. Track slams as is, so not necessary at all...
