Most times, unless it's a very simple vid, I find they either go into way too much detail, or way too little. Sometimes I have a mixed bag of knowledge, so I need things laid out in pretty simple terms some of the time, but can grasp and move on on others... I just prefer a simple html doc. Just...
The song and composition are very good. You added instruments as you went, keeping the interest going. It was a good listen.
But I really suppose any response would have to be dependent on your goals. What do you want it to sound like? EDM? Movie theme? Game background?
Two things hit me...
- Something in the electric piano sound is sounding like speaker rattle (even when I turn the volume WAY down). Sounds like my speakers are being blown out... The end hangs on a bit long for my tastes.
+ I like the tune. It's pretty compelling to listen through. Lots of changes and growth...
Tempo also sets mood. 120+ gets you moving, while under 80 often lets you contemplate...whether dramatically or emotionally (depending on the theme or lyric). There are, of course, exceptions. . .
I went to the Raleigh Guitar Center with a list of hopefuls; a disc with some test tones, sweeps and a couple songs I like + one of my own mixes; and a dB meter. After listening and testing all on my list, I came home with my M-Audio M3-8s. Highly recommend this method of picking speakers...if...
Distortion is kind of funny that way. What you hear in the room may sound just right, but what you pick up on the track might sound a LOT more distorted. Try pushing the gain or the distortion on the pedal or amp back a few notches.
Okay, I think I understand what you're after, and I think it's worth looking at, but a couple things to consider. I think the frequency splits would have to be managed as picking a specific frequency would give you different things for different notes, no?
If you set your split at 1000 hz, and...
I have never worked with Intel processors until this last build. (My first (well, my first after the Commodores) was a Harris 25Mhz 8088.:laughings:) Every computer I've ever owned since was AMD processor. I've owned some NVIDIA gpu's, but this is my first Intel
What's funny is, I went from a 8...
My wife and I are like that as well. Let me ask you this, though: Are you like us physically as well as digitally? She hoard EVERYTHING in storage boxes, she keeps the cardboard boxes things come in in the shed in case they need to be returned, but never throws them out, etc. And I always have...
I am a Reason user. Things may not be the same. But if I select a track, I can use CTRL-C and then go into a new project, put the time cursor at the beginning of the song, and then hit CTRL-V. Track from old project is now a track in new project. If export and import does this function without...
Welcome Brian. Take a look through the different forums that interest you. Jump in where you feel comfortable. We're pretty much all cordial here as long as someone doesn't bring up something like smashing guitars against the wall to tune them...:laughings:
The obvious answers are A) Do one or the other first, and then do the other, or B) Practice until you can be sure of the vocal... You can get some isolation with the proper pattern on a microphone, but I'll leave that up to the guys that actually do that sort of thing. I'm an A person...:D
I don't think you have to redo the entire project. You should be able to cut each track, paste it in the new project. Most likely, there is a plug-in in mono mode on some bus.
