many people also feel the plate 140 evened the reverb game...i've never used the power core so I can't comment. It definitly has a weight to it rarely heard in plug-ins

acidrock has a good point... Other that I might opt for the La2a/fairchild for compression, PEQ for EQ, or the Plate 140 for reverb. Depending on which one you feel you need more.

Stay away from active behringer stuff(any behringer unit that needs power) unless it doesn't pass audio

i don't think i can stay awake long enough to tell you how much shit is fukked up in this mix....BUT your biggest problems are the drum sounds used. Try "stealing" some drums sounds from commercial releases i.e. cutting out a single snare/kick hit that is void of sounds that distract it from...
