Safe European Home - The Clash cover by The Greg

Nice, dude. Even the backing vox were solid.:D What's the story on the kick mic placement? Front or back? Nice definition with just the right amount of click. Little clip at 1:27?

    Newbie feedback please

First off, I effin' love Ukes, so it's all good.:D That being said, the overall timbre of the ukes, banjos and the like are pretty boxy. I like to hear a bit of the head on a banjo...the mp3 sounds almost like it was an open back. If that's the case, that explains the duller timbre...

Treading New Ground - Mixing Acoustic Drums and Electronica...

As for the drums....I think if you went lofi with them, they might be a better fit. They're pretty much in character now, but with a little grittiness they could be more than just a rhythmic element. This has a bit of an Enigma vibe thanks to the uber pads you're using....one thing might be...

    fritsthegirls's Opus

Wow. This tune lights up alot of centers in my skull. I'll disagree with DM60 and rayc a little....and it's just a personal preference thing. DO NOT change your vocal delivery. The honesty and vulnerablility is refreshing...and definitely in character for this tune. Your pitch centers are...

    Bob Goes to the Mall

Suppose for a moment you have a Dog....Bob. One day he snags the keys to your sled and heads to the mall. This is pretty much what it sounded like.... SoundClick artist: Teysha - Instrumental Southwestern Jazz with a little chaos thrown in... Did some much needed writing this weekend...

    Driver braniacs needed...Win 8 64 bit and Code 10

Turns out it was a specific MSI Installer error..one that was unique to Gateway and their OEM Windows build. I was able to install the driver successfully on several other Win 8 machines. So I took the Gateway back and bought a Dell 23" all in one touch screen model...Core i5 quad w/6 gigs of...

    Driver braniacs needed...Win 8 64 bit and Code 10

Thanks. Unfortunately, ZOOM has only released one version of the Win 8 driver and as with most of ZOOM's drivers, it appears to be crap. New problem popped up last night...now I can't uninstall the effin' driver. I get a new error mssg about a java script being unable to run. I might just...

Vintage Speakers....no one talks about this?

I own the last decent set of 601's Bose made..the series iii. Pretty decent cabs...wouldn't monitor on them, but for my home theater, they're pretty sweet...plus I almost don't need a sub with them.

Just submitted the issue from their website. We'll see if they have anything to offer.

    Driver braniacs needed...Win 8 64 bit and Code 10

Amen, bruddah! ZOOM has a reputation for sketchy drivers so it's likely a fatal issue. Their customer service is about zero, so I'm not holding out alot of hope. I'm already looking for another interface if I can't get this up and running soon.

    Driver braniacs needed...Win 8 64 bit and Code 10

Are you using the ZOOM R16 as your interface? And yeah, I know how to install from Device manager. I think it's a crappy driver from ZOOM. Wouldn't be the first one.

    Driver braniacs needed...Win 8 64 bit and Code 10

No luck. This device cannot start. (Code 10) {Operation Failed} The requested operation was unsuccessful. this has got to be a problem with the driver itself. Something is failing in the installation....probably something to do with Microsoft's driver signature crap. But that's just a...

Thx. I'll give that a shot when I get home. Now that you mention it, I believe I had all that stuff disabled on my Win 7 system.

    Driver braniacs needed...Win 8 64 bit and Code 10

I recently bought a new computer for my home studio. Previously, I've been running a budget laptop, Win7 with surprising success. Now I have a big boy machine running 64 bit Windows 8, but I cannot get the driver for my Zoom R16 interface to install to save my life! I can see it in the Hardwre...
