It certainly does sound solid when mixed with the drums. The first clip you shared was hard to judge -- I watch a lot of more solo-oriented bassists, and I feel like the tone you're getting is just so different from what they do that it just sounded quite off to me.
Mirrors and glass surfaces of any kind are a major headache. Really disappointed about this, I have mulled over the theory of placing mirrors in a similarly theoretical studio and so far I have found no way to make it work out.
I think sometimes I hang on to a project because I enjoy working on it so much... I really appreciated following the evolution of this one of yours, I think the end result is fantastic!
What kind of Squier bass?
I really like the concept of a PJ bass -- blend the P with the J, if you're looking for more mid-range, roll towards the J pickup!
There is an audience. I feel like a lot of folks doesn't realize that there is a massive revival of "musicians' music" in Gen Z. I wanna hear some! Post it somewhere!
Cut your teeth on an easier editor and move on to the DaVinci freebie or something similarly "prosumer", the results are always going to be more satisfactory.

However if you want a good all-around editor go with DaVinci. The free version is...
Atmos for music would seem to be logically limited to high-profile artists due to the expense of the whole thing. I'm a big Colt fan and sure, Atmos is a very cool concept etc. but totally unrealistic for far too many artists to ever become THE standard format.
Agree with @HumanPlanet.
I'm not familiar with the original song, but arrangement-wise, I do think that experimentation with light percussion is warranted. You can always cut it out if it doesn't work!
