I raised the vocals almost everywhere considerably. added a Tamborine on chorus and a ref whistle in intro. hand claps during second verse. Tightened up alot of the vocals especially the double during verses. added harmonies during bridge and a bg vocal idea on last chorus

I sang and played everything but the Gtr solo and drums. I dont' think it sounds like STP personally but everyone hears different.

Vocals have quite a bit of delay and verb more than i would normally use that maybe it when i get home ill try backing a bit off

mix sounds good that keyboard parts needs some variation I hear it too much. you need to hi pass the lead guitar break remove some of that rumble and static between phrasing it's distracting.

Ok so this is a very good start. Production wise it needs a few things to take it to the next level. Real human feeling drums with a groove number 1. If you can't play them or don't know someone that can then farm them out on fiverr or something, It's like 50 bucks for a song like this...

I removed the intro eastern part and added some vocals during the sparse breakdown. Let me know what you think. that's a good idea the piano lick at end of each chorus start with that into the guitar part!
