I thought I had heard quite a few samples of guitar...... when I heard the acoustic guitar samples made by Orange Tree it was kind of depressing...cause its now true that any real studio guitar player could not possibly sound better than these samples or other acoustic guitar samples available...

Videos show users often fill up the VST rack in Halion or Kontkt with 5-10 sound presets and assign a different midi channel number to each one. Up to 16. Then they make a midi track for each one. Not multi sounds but one at a time. Why are they doing this??

I got a trial code for Iconic and registered it in e license. The DL is huge so I only got about 40 files,5 gig and gave up. I tried putting them in my VST folder but didn't work. They don't show in Halion. Was wondering if there is a trick to get partial DL files like that to work in Halion...

about group channels and fx... if you use a group channel and you send a couple of tracks to it for some reverb and delay...it doesnt matter if the fx are put in the insert side,left or the sends side ,right...?? no?? or if so why.. thanx

if you want to enter midi with a mouse you have to be in an event. otherwise you get white midi notes that dont sound. One way I saw to get a new event block is to highlight a few new bars... but when you double click to open the editor your new block disappears.how do you get a new event block...

I noticed that when you open a project sometimes and highlight a track ,it doesnt load the correct vst...it might be the vst for the track above it but not for the one you have highlighted. Have you run into this..?

I liked some of the guitar sounds in Garageband. Not a lot but a few. Can I bring those few into Cubase AI and use them there. I like Dublin delay and the Echos thing too.The guitar presets in Cube are Really thin. And the reverbs re not great . AI doesnt have Reverance etc.

if you use this in Cubase there is a way to use the screen pads to trigger a running beat of different sorts. It syncs somehow along with the default beats...its like beat sequences... how do you get that going on the GrooveA gent menu..?
