That's a tough one. I see eBay has some parts units for $99 - a bit much for a knob, but you may be able to salvage other parts to bring the cost down...
OK. Got that cleared up. Just send that Scarlett to me. I'll check it out - make sure it's working properly. Shouldn't take more than 5 or 6 years . . :p:D
I had an acoustic dreadnought with what appeared to be a string buzz. Nothing I tried or looked at seemed to reveal the source. Then, in desperation, I used my thumb, pressing various spots on each tuning head/key as I strummed. Lo-and-behold, when I got to the (forget which one), the buzzing...
With my old Tascam US-2x2 and my newer Motu M2, I have recorded 2 Reaper tracks simultaneously quite easily - just the way you describe. Assuming the rest of each track's settings are already configured, just tell Reaper which inputs you're using and hit record.
Gee Rob. You're taking all the fun out of this. I was preparing a 3 hour power point presentation on recording live auto sounds while in vehicle. I guess I'll have to mosey on over to the How The Heck Do I Record Car Tires On Crunchy Gravel website :p;)
Is 30W enough . . ? Check out these 5W and 14W combos. . Beginning with the Silvertone 1482 Combo on the right rated at 5W (that's right, 5 WATTS), and the '59 Gibson Explorer Combo is rated at a whopping 14W. They move onto higher wattage amps - Ampeg and Fender. . 30 & 40 watters - but I...
You need something in front of the mic to deflect the wind. You'll have to improvise placement with a product that already exists - such as a small motorcycle windshield. The difficult part will be in the mounting/attachment.

Yeah. I think you're stuck there. From what I can see, this interface has it's 1-4 output volumes fixed with no individual faders in the software settings panel. My old US-2x2 at least had output faders in the Custom Settings Panel, which I kept at 100%.
Don't your active speakers have volume controls - they're usually on the back, but may be on the front. Could also be a Monitor setting in the US-4x4 HR's Settings Panel. Try changing 3-4 to Monitor Mix to match the 1-2 Monitor Mix setting.
Good to hear. Sometimes my screen displays can be off like this. Mostly, it's due to me accidentally scrolling the screen size via my trackball. Here at HR, I have to scroll it up to 125% to get full screen display, otherwise it doesn't fill out to the edges and seems small to me.
