G'day all.
I'm looking to put together a computer for home use, but one that can also receive files via S/Pdif optical from my Korg D8, for backing-up to cd.
Are there any "simple" (read cheaper) soundcards that have optical in's & out's. ( Oh, one other thing, it needs to run at 44.1khz, ...
I just picked up a version of Music2000 for the Playstation.
I thought I could use it to put together some drum & rhythm tracks to transfer to my hard disc recorder.
I figured for $20 Australian for a sampling sequencer, I can't go wrong.
Has anyone out there used it with any success?
Hi all.
I do my recording onto my Korg D8 (digital all-in-one 8 track) and don't really have anything more than an old cassette recorder at the moment to mix down to. (You can mixdown to a stereo pair on the Korg ... you know...)

Last night I plugged in my scssi Zip, formatted it in accordance with the instructions & tried to do a back-up of 1 song (only 3 tracks, about 1 1/2 minutes long.) Immediately a message came up, "Disk Full". Turned...
