I know virtually nothing about EQ but cut nearly everything as much as possible . If I then want a cello I cut half as much bass and it sounds fairly bassy in relatively terms . I guess it's sort of audio illusion

Ok I went on fiverr looking for female vocalists . What if I were to premix onto two tracks then there's 6 blank tracks left . Export all those tracks individually (never actually done that before ) presumably when it came back the dp008ex can reimport it all ie the stereo mixdown and anything...

Is it possible to get someone to record remotely their vocal part . Problem is I don't use daw software so it's on an SD card recorded on tascam dp008ex

I don't actually record in daw so I'm thinking ai vox approach might be a problem

To my ears it's a kind of trade off . Keyboard pianos are ok but not great even the better ones are a bit cardboard . Stereo gives more ambience with them. .more candy I guess .but attempting one in mono might allow more space for other components to come through . I also find that timing wise...

Ok but say I record a piano out of a keyboard as stereo two track left and right is that taking up more sound space for other tracks to compete with than a recorded single track out of the left (stereo sum )

Been trying to imagine what's happening. As I understand it a stereo recording of an instrument will contain more sonic information than an identical mono capture of the same thing. ? Can someone explain how there is more and what there is more of . Presumably both contain the same frequencies...

It's a good question . As basic as my methods and technical understandings are my instincts have been to avoid or minimise visual interaction . I doubt anyone could describe the basic knobs on a tascam dpoo8ex recorder as a console but it keeps the focus away from grids /blocks and such .
