I think if the Rode was turned up as high as on the meter it would be off the scale with that bleeping.
The meter is dancing all over the place and there is no sound to match except earlier some quite fan/air sound. It is weird but I cant see how it can be the mic otherwise you would clearly...
So where is the noise it is showing dancing all over the meters? Can you turn up the playback volume of a recording with the mic and post a video and not talk over it?
I think you have an excellent warranty with that mic so you should have no worries.
I can hear no noise but from the meter which is dancing around as if it was as background noise.........but there isnt any.
I have noticed once that plugging one lead into a socket was noisier than another on...
The Audient ID44 has two headphone 'outs'. $200 . More like$550-$600.
You can of course buy a headphone amp which usually come with extra headphone sockets. So then you one headphone socket from your interface becomes 2-3-4? But then one of these may cost $50 or more and they may...
It will be a new venture Keith. At present still undecided but leaning very much that way. The Mix Pre 3 is still £200+ more expensive than the F6 so I am at a wonder what I am getting extra for that cash besides a name?
Would these recorders be as quiet as a studio interface?
No I want a field recorder Keith and I do need quiet pre-amps for the use I need it for. I want good recorded sound for a new venture. I want to hear only what I record. Non music, nature and even some foley recordings.
Cheers Rob. I just couldnt figure it out. If anyone knows then you will.
EDIT: Rob I went and looked on Thomann at what you said and I think his description is what you refer to. There are some A-T's there from 550 to 1000 which are long and thin like a shotgun mic, but are of course as...
I was talking with someone regards recording outdoors. They said my Rode Ngt2 would be better replaced with a stereo shotgun mic for recording things like cars to give the stereo speaker effect.
I had never thought anything about this before or even knew that there were stereo shotgun mics...
You get obsessed with this. I dont know if there is an answer. The more you hear, the more you want to perfect it and remove it. I am down to the faintest of noises only audible through headphones with the volume high. It drives me nuts.
I found audacity a pain in the bum. Just when I thought I had mastered it I found problems with it after rendering. To be honest with Reaper you get a free bash with it and its only $60.00. You will start from scratch again but??????
I would concentrate on your voice booth, because I...
Slow stuff Gecko. Single instrument oldies tracks like ..... 'she moved through the fair'............. slow haunting stuff ............ definitely not any fiddly dee.
Thanks for that Rob and the recordings are for audiobooks/stories of which many have been recorded but not edited yet. Hence the disheartened question. But I feel ok now after your reply. Cheers. (y)
