Not familiar with the original. Quite a varied selection of sounds from 1 synth. Mix is good. Based on this I'd say you're well on the way to mastering the Waldorf!

I listened initially on my monitors, and that was my first impression but listening again on earbuds I'm not hearing the masking any more. Lesson here is take any feedback from with a couple of lbs of salt :D

Thanks dobro. Great tips thanks Kev. I've backed the bass off a tad and pushed the vocal as far as I dare. The weird thing is it's variable even though I never change the latency. One time it will record fine, next time it's out by 250ms

So after all the feedback pointing out the obvious flaws I stripped the mix back and started again. Removed the echo on the drums, redid the bass, hopefully fixed the pitchy vocal bits and tried to generally get everything back in the same room. Think I'm getting closer. New mix up top if you...
