I have no idea what any of this means but the selector is pointing at the 5 on this dial; and I have the red lead in the top socket and the black in the bottom (following instructions in the manual). I'm probably doing it wrong, but I can't tell which side is DC and tha manual isn't helping

Well, there was nothing on the LPR90, so there's that. I was going to use it for some new stuff So, the problem is that the 388 isn't recording. On either tape. Which does explain why I'm having such a hard time striping FSK to track 8.

On the 2i2 gen 3 there are screws hidden under the two rear feet. Check yours.
