for around 275, i can get a pair of active wharfdales from deepwater here. or, i have found somewhere else that i can get event 2020s and a hafler ta1600 for 300. which would you go for?

any one have any oppinions? i can get these for 200, and if they are pretty crappy, i might go for a pair of wharfdales. what do you think?

So i want to be able to switch between two different sets of monitors, one to mix on, and the other to check them. The problem is, one pair is powered, and the other is passive with an amp. So, does this affect anything? what i am really looking for is something either under 20 bucks to buy...

so my sm-57 broke today. the plastic cap on top fell off. my question is, can i just tape/glue it back on, or does it need to be aligned some how?

Can i sync different alesis adat models, like the blackface and a xt model?

i read up, and usb seems like a terrible way to go. so why would you go that route. Is it because you dont need a fast computer?
