Really struggling with acoustic guitar mixing

I think it sounds really good, wish I could get my acoustic recordings to sound like that! Your vocal sounds really great ! Maybe have the guitar a little less mids? Thats really nitpicking, I would be thrilled to record something like this :>)

    Rain

Wow, thats a lot of rain, all snow and freezing here (Michigan). One of the more straight forward songs I've heard from you , well until the 1:24 mark ...LOVE that! Pretty quirky little break with the guitars, and panning vocal! Your drums always sound great! Cool tune!

    bad hair

Cool groove , like the guitars! Agree , some more upfront walking bass would kick it up a notch. Cool vocal delivery..."goat on a stick" . Cool guitar solo !

    Manslick - Aunt Nora

Listened to both versions at top of thread "The Newbie" and "The OG" I really liked The OG! Love the sparseness of the arrangement in the beginning, really lets the lyrics shine, and the vocal really feels connected to the story of the song. I always dig your music and look forward to listening...

What Once Where Lemmings...(Are Now All Bones)

Thanks! Yeah took a bit of time to kind of synch the images and clips to the music, was fun to mess with! I couldn't help but feel a little hypocritical railing against mindnumbing social media /phone addiction , while posting it on youtube  ! I think it was a Marshall and a Soldano...

What Once Where Lemmings...(Are Now All Bones)

Decided to put some images to this song I recorded a while back. Inspired by early Black Sabbath/Ozzy, tried to lay down a nasally vocal track.

    Birds Ain't Real

Yes I am going to bring the solo up a little, this was a early mix and wanted to live with it for a few days and see what I thought after the initial tracking/mixing. Not Australian, I'm from Michigan/USA. Detroit area :>) . I just liked the way the bots Australian accent sounded, especially...

    Birds Ain't Real

Thanks, I sliced and diced those drum loops from my very old Cakewalk guitar tracks Drag And Drop Drummer collection.

    Birds Ain't Real

Thanks Bulls, had fun with this one, yes Australian accents, to me, they sounded the most realistic, less robotic. There is a Indian "vocalist " at the end as well...

    Pity

wow would not have guessed that was the bass on this...very cool, reminded me of Tony Levin on Peter Gabriels solo stuff.

    Pity

Love that bass that comes in around 1:00 mark, what is it? Cool sound! Great lyrics/vocals. Sorry about your band

    Suddenly

I really like how strong you guys hold the groove without percussion/ drums. No nits at all just enjoyed ...what was that guitar being played at the end of the song? Looked like a Fender strat neck ? Great job!

    Pie is done/have a peace.

Cool throwback vibe, reminds me of Uriah Heep ala Demons and Wizards era! Love the organ, maybe it could come up a bit in the mix? Very cool guitar, I dig it! Unique lead vocalist, very engaging, love this kind of music! Nice video as well, visuals work well with the song!
