    Tears on the Mountain

I like the bass, performance and tone. I think adding mandolin and ukulele would definitely broaden the width of the mix if panned the way you mentioned.

    a "genre-free" instrumental

Cool listen on headphones, wide soundscape, the flute sounded maybe a little loud level wise perhaps? A bit more subtle might sit better in the mix? I like the drum sound a lot. The fade at the end seemed a little fast/abrupt. This reminds me a little of one of my favorite bands, Jade Warrior...

    Hyx23b - kinda out there

Used my old electro harmonix micro synth pedal on this , as well as ehx mel 9, and a boss sy-1 pedal. Kinda trying for a Toolish vibe....its a bit of a slow burner...All guitars and Bass guitar thru a Pod GO

    Cigarettes

Love the groove, you guys complement each other well, and I agree, Tjarkos playing is so tasteful and perfect. Also agree with K-dub, pulling the acoustic back just a little would perhaps sit a little nicer in the mix, Great performance fellas!

    All One Enchantress Knows (demo)

I think the vocals sound great! The music has a kind of commercial Alan Parsons project stuff from the 80's vibe...being a kid from the 80's I like it! The end of the song seemed to snub the fade a bit? Cool project, book with accompanying music, that's really interesting.

Boots And Cans And Baited Hooks

Cool, thanks, I like how that part came out as well ;>) Love Mr. Bungle, and all things Mike Patton, so cool, thanks! I am going to have to force myself to keep singing , most of the stuff I write lyrics for , are a bit to far out and wacky for my band to try live . Thanks for listening and...

    Wayfaring Stranger

Wow! really cool listening to this after famous beagle's version, as he stated, super cool to hear different interpretations on the same song. Both versions are great!

    Wayfaring Stranger

I like the panning choices; they work well when you have such well performed parts/vocals and giving them their own specific places in the sound field really makes things stand out in a good way. Awesome job performance and mix wise.

Haven't been here for a long time. Cinema Paradiso

I thought it sounded really great, nothing like the stuff I record so don't feel qualified to offer any feedback other then I enjoyed the listen. IT easily set my mind to wandering (in a good way) while listening on headphones.

    Tavern of the Terrible

LOVE IT! Yup, turn her up a bit! Love that stand up Bass. Hollowing like a hound part is great!

Boots And Cans And Baited Hooks

Pretty weird one here, got tired of trying to redo my crappy vocals on my other recent song, so decided to use some nonsense lines from a poem I wrote, run it thru the old text to speech generator, and lay down some grooves around it...kind of a wacky experimental thing...was fun anyways, and...

    Mending A Fence

As far as mu vocals, yes, very un-confident, I think I perform it much better in my car on my morning commute, singing along to the instrumental only track. As soon as I get down to recording in front of the mic , I pretty much choke . I do usually just try to do complete whole takes, one at a...

    Mending A Fence

I am going to remix the vocals dryer as you and others have suggested, may take a new pass at them as well as I have practiced them a bit since initial tracking. Thanks for the re listen and feedback! Think I will dry out the vocals.Cool the bass sounding ok, been trying to get that better in...

    Mending A Fence

Thanks Dobro, singing way out of my comfort zone, but necessary evil if I don't want to do instrumentals all the time...cool mix sounded good to you, I am on the fence about the bass guitar, wanted a fat , yet punchy , almost clicky tone if that makes sense ..
