    The Fall Of Hyperion

A friend and I wanted to try writing recording a long, multi part song like the prog epics back in the day bands like Yes, Genesis, ELP etc... was a lot of fun, not sure if it worked, but definitely met the "long" criteria . Used my new IBG Epihone 59 Les Paul for guitars, bass guitar was a...

Yes , I hear it when I listen to it on other systems/car stereo....I think I need to address my monitor/roo. Situation a bit when mixing as I seem to over compensate for low end on all my stuff....ugh

    Waisted threads

lots of cool dynamics !crazy sounds around 4:50, whammy pedal? You're playing reminds me of Brian May/Michael Schenker very melodic and tasteful, with just the right amount of shred :>). Cool , enjoyed it!

Thanks for the tips, I did pull in the panning on the lead vocals, and laso did exactly what you suggest on bass, low shelf cut at 180 hz, -2db. I think its much "cleaner " sounding now on both accounts (vocals, and bass guitar). As always, I appreciate your feedback and tips! Here is a link...

New Cover Song: Intruder by Chthonic Black (Van Halen)

I always dug this on the 1984 album, wished Van Halen would have done more darker heavier things like this instead of crappy covers like Pretty Women which this goes into on the album. Anyways, I dig your version, especially the guitar tones...nice and crisp , bass sounds great when it kicks in...

Cool, yeah that lazer thing is a quick string slide thru a wacky delay plugin..i liked the way it sounded so isolated it and brought it up in the mix. Thanks for the listen !!! Hey triple M, I have exactly that, 2 vocals panned left and right...I am going to center them and maybe lower 1 a bit...

    The Who?

Wow! Great vocals! Love this one, hear you on snare, minor nit,but it would take this over the edge of it was a bit more, o don't know how to describe it, but maybe more "crack" to it? Guitars sound great!!! Killer job, if your taking request for The Who, I will throw out "Happy Jack" , some...

    Rock On cover

You have a totally identifiable bass sound , I love that, fits great on this song, no nits ,your version is a harder edged version of the original, which is a killer tune in itself...love the guitars added..yeah!

    The Wolves Of Fading

I really like your guitar tone on the main guitar, agree maybe it can pull back during the vocals (vocals are excellent) would like to hear the guitar solo a.little more up front as well, that main guitar part maybe a little to up front during that part as well? Listening on headphones and had a...

    A Sound Of Thunder

Been working on this one for awhile and wondering how it sounds to fresh ears...going for that big low vintage taurus bass pedal drone at times , but having a hard time keeping them in control. Vocals are a struggle for me ...still working on those. Used a old line 6 variax 500 for the sitar...
