It's the second song called Milky Way. Hate to say it but this is a rather boring acoustic rendition of the 80s song. Nothing special at all.
I just bought a wah and wanted to add it to this song. It's somewhere around the middle and...
New to electric guitars. My playing sucks big time but I just need some feedback on the rhythm tone. It's not intended to sound like the real band, just trying to experiment with nice distortion/overdrive tones at bedroom levels and I happen to like this one.
It's the one called Seether and...
It's the Bread cover, "Make it With You."
I did everything so please feel free to offer advice/feedback/comments.
In fact, I'll start. I think my guitar playing is lousy especially for a song that's very easy to play. My bass playing which I took up just a few minutes before recording the...
Click on the first one that says New York. I'm obviously no solo guitar player but I tried on this one. I know it's not great but it was fun.

This is not an original ,this is a cover song. "Counterpoint to Lennon and McCartney's Here, There and Everywhere" is not a popular tune here in the states but I always found it very interesting. The guitar playing is very basic, nothing fancy at all but I thought I'd share it anyway.
This has...
I just plugged it in a few hours ago and can't seem to get it working. The power supply seems to be working okay (the blue light is on) and all connections are fine but no sound.
I plugged the NTK into different mic inputs on my AKAI DAW and no sound from any of them. My AT4040 sounds fine...
Sorry for the newb question. Obviously technically challenged, I read the specs and still don't know.
I currently have the NTK into the RNP/RNC combo and it works well for me but I just wanted to add another mic. If I go with the KSM44 (based on the reviews here), would I be upgrading?
Music...
These are the same songs I previously posted but followed the advice you guys gave. I think the recording quality is better but talent is still very much lacking. :D
Also, I tried to tone down the bass as much as I could but it's still too strong.
The first one was used with a SM58 for...
...on this simple acoustic guitar and vocal recording.
I'd appreciate comments on the recording process/technique, not the singing or playing since I did not have time to do how I really wanted to do it. I've experimented on mic placement on the guitar and messing around with the NTK vs...
.... and I've been playing with it for 2 hours already with vocals and can't seem to get anything good. It goes through an RNP and RNC and have tried different settings on the RNC (even bypass) and still can't get anything good. I was thinking about the NTK as an option to my AT 4040s. I love...
I have the RNC and am wondering if I need it for the acoustic guitar. I have several Taylors and use the SP C4s through the RNC and RNP into an AKAI DAW. Mild to moderate strumming to fingpericking.
Can anyone recommend their favorite or best setting in the Super Nice mode to get the most...

What is the best setting in the Super Nice mode to get the most natural sound? What about for vocals? (The AT4040 is...
For vocals, is the difference between the two mics significant? Night and day? I am torn between the two and could fork out the extra bucks for the NTK but I just wanted to hear everyone's opinions on these two.
Keep in mind that all my projects are extremely amateur. Will plug it into a RNP...
Newbie question.
Lost of great info in this forum!! Here's my first post.
I'm ready to upgrade my mics for acoustic guitar recording. I play fingerpicking to light strumming using Taylor guitars. Aside form vocals and a drum machine, no other instruments will be added to the mix. I plug...
