I just picked up a Bad Monkey Digitech pedal, from a store with no return policy. I'm using an old solid state Sonax amp Yorkville used to make in the 70s and a cheap Austin guitar (my girlfriend is going to trade it soon for a guitar, which I can't remember the brand of that sounds a lot...
Not really picky here, throw what you've got at me...as long it's not a full sized Hammond of course, but it doesn't matter how old it is, as long it's a combo organ, it's cool. Thanks.
My board is rather old and has been out of production for 17 years...needless to say the faders and pots are extremely dusty and crackle like there is no tomorrow sometimes. Yorkville suggested I send it into them and they could replace the knobs and faders, but some knobs are totally gone now...
What are some good fuzz effect pedals? I found out a particular song used a Fuzz Factory pedal but I can't find much information and they are way too much ($300). Any ideas? Thanks.
Like my old thread sort of: I was looking at a pair of MXL 603's for drum overheads. I also was looking to buy a SP B1 for vocals. I've heard B1s make good overheads (but since it a large diaphragm, would it be too overbearing or anything?), so should (at least for the time being) just buy 2 B1s...
I changed the Delta 1010lt jumpers to line level for inputs one and two, as I want to run a 1/4" to XLR cable to them from my mixer. The cable I'm using I got for free a year or two ago from the guy who sold me my board, it looks homemade and has 3 XLR (Neutrik) to 1/4" cables...and I know it...
I'm looking to buy a pair of MXL 603's soon, but online it's a hundred bucks more for a factory matched pair. Now...I want to use them for drum overheads, and I know ideally you want them to be matched, but how big of a deal is it? Can I get away with un matched ones? I'd rather not shell out...
Okay, this is kind of like my last post about this. My problem is I'm not getting a very hot signal from my mixer into my computer.
For example, I can record a guitar at a decent level if I crank the gain half way and the amp is loud. But just as a test, my girlfriend brought over this gigantic...
Moved this from The Rack:
I got the Vinyl Direct X plugin to work, but I can't get this tape saturation one to work: http://www.directap.com/audio.asp I've done everything it says but Cool Edit doesn't detect it. The only weird thing is when it says run the install file I click on it and it...

Okay, here's the situation. I have a 70's Sonax 550 B combo amp made by Yorkville. I bought a new speaker for it about 2-3 months ago as the old was fried. The amp worked great but always had a very airy sound to it whenever turned on, and after being turned off, the sound lasted for a few...
Situation: I'm running a bass directly into a channel in my board through the LINE IN. I then have a snake where a cable runs from the PRE OUT into an input on my Delta 1010lt. crankz1 might remember the situation a while ago where I was trying to find out whether I could use my PRE OUTS as...
I'm going out today to pick up a dynamic mic. The best thing I have is a Shure PG48, so as you can see, I need a bit of an upgrade. A local music store by me sells these Apex mics (Canadian made, so half of you might not know them, but they are here...
Ok, instead of a snake, since I haven't really gotten many suggestions and where I live they would be hard to purchase, would I be better off using long cables? Basically my situation is: My drums are downstairs, and I'm up here (now, we're not floors apart, I'm just on a higher level) with my...
My Delta 1010lt is going in soon, and the only thing in this computer is the onboard soundcard. Not even a Soundblaster. I was wondering if it is possible to use my onboard soundcard to play stuff like MP3s? It's mainly just so I can use computer speakers, and I don't have to swap cables and run...
Hi, I'm looking around for a recording snake because my "control room" is in a separate room from my drums. Now, keep in mind I'm in Canada...southern Ontario to be exact. So if I do order offline keep in mind it has to be from a site that will ship to Canada. Hopefully some people on here are...
I want to buy a decent snake to run between my board and Delta 1010lt. This is a local music store's website on what brands they sell for recording gear:

Are there any companies in there that make a decent snake? It just needs to be...
I'm getting a Delta 1010LT for christmas (only been waiting for a decent soundcard for like 2 years now...) and have been screwing around with junky sounding recordings with my onboard soundcard. I was just playing around and had a bass plugged directly into the line in on channel 6 on my board...
