I've had my eye on one of those early Joe Meek VC3 channel strips for a while. I found one for a nice price at a clearance sale this weekend, only used for display, so I'm a happy camper... It came in a set with that JM47 LDC mic which I wasn't going to bother with, just sell it on right away...

Shame on me, I don't have an RE20. I've been offered a PL20 for under $200. Apparantly they renamed al the RE's to PL's for a whyle and it's actually the same mic. Do you know anything about this?

I just got a defect D202. I've got it to work (loose wires) and I'm in now putting it back together. I've had a D242 appart a while back and it appears to be the same mic inside and out. Does anyone know if there is an actual difference? Moresound?
