My mixes sound great in my studio room with proper monitors but when I take to some other systems it sounds very bass heavy. Common problem...I know.
Here's what I don't get...If I add wall treatments....bass trap etc. won't be removing bass from the room and then in turn want to add more bass...
So I got one priced out...because future shop and best buy are only putting out windows 8.1 and I have Pro Tools 9 which isn't compatible so I have to go with Windows 7 machine, which I prefer anyways

So I bought a used cakewalk 8 on ebay for $30. I have a windows 7 computer that is 64bit. from what I have read on this site is that it will not work because software is 32 and computer is 64? Is that the case?

I know that's harsh, but that is exactly what I thought of it when I played it. Very sterile. No warmth to it at all. And for the price ......wow! I think they missed the boat. Peavey XXX is way better and a lot cheaper!!
