Trying to upload a new song on a new thread but keep getting an error message. Tried on pc and phone. Anyone having similar problems?

Good song, very talented guy. I hear Frank Black in the verse, but with more melody. Then something like Green Day in the chorus. It feels a bit stripped down overall, but that may be the effect. I'd add some background droning guitar lines to fill things out, but that's just me. Good stuff.

Thank you very much for the thoughts. I think the criticisms are bang on the money and the praise is gratefully received. I'm a big fan of Squeeze amongst many others, but don't think this song sounds like them, although I might, being British. I definitely stole a part from their Hourglass...

I can hear a bit of Bob Mould in the guitars. Can't give higher praise.

Just dug out the BR-800 and am now recording all my old songs. Had a local band back in the nineties but we just didn't have the vocalist. I would have made a decent backing vocalist, but I wrote the songs and no-one else would sing, so I had to do it! For these demos, I just set a drum track...

Good effort. Very Silver Sun harmonies in there, and that's a big compliment. I think it needs another distorted rhythm guitar in there to fill up the space as the acoustic leaves some holes. Not an over the top one, just something to connect the guitar to the bass and drums. I could hear...
