    Hi there Gecko Zzed. I just purchased a Presonus Firepod from around 2009. I have a brand new M2 Mac mini and I'm trying to find the drivers needed to get the Firepod up and running. I know that Presonus does not have any of their own drivers for current Macs, but somewhere on this site I read that you were able to make the Firepod work with a newer version of Windows. Any advice would be highly appreciated.

    I'll give it another listen then get back to you. However, sitting next to me I have a keyboard that I use for assorted voices, and sometime for quick piano. But it doesn't have a sustain pedal. So when I want a better piano, I have to go to the three-pedal piano that sits further afield. When I listened to the track (which was in fact the track in the first post . . . you might have posted a more recent version) it had a piano sound that reminded me very much of the dry, unsustained piano sound I get with the little keyboard.

    Hey man, I was curious what you're hearing on the piano on Fortunate Son? There is a sustain pedal and it is used normally (where you would expect it on such a part. The chords sustain. I'm not sure what it is your ear is hearing as lack of sustain. Let me know, thanks!

    I decided maybe my stuff came up a full notch, and, figured it was time I got the official "on the chin" Geck-view... its posted in the songwriting and mp3 clinics...

    I had to leave it a binary piece, i wasn't able to impose sonata form in it, my ears said to leave well enough alone and leave it be.

    I dont want to wear you out as a mentor, you've been so good to me...
