    i just found this on ebay. i think it might be suggesting this is a suitable outboard transformer to match it. so i thought i'd pass it on since it might warrent further investigation

    there's a pair of mic trannys on ebay still at a reasonable price mate. Unfortunately theres not much info about them but it might be worth asking the vendor some questions. (re step up/ step down?)The connections may not suit your needs too. i thought it might be worth a shot though.
