I like the tune and the delivery, but I'd experiment with putting more space around the vocal.

Also, it's a bit disorienting when the vocal sort of disappears for a while the first time you sing 'like a pendulum'. Automation!

Did McCartney leave this off of "RAM"?

This is a prime example of how to do exactly this. It's extremely perfect for what it is - and I am serious.

Good song, you sounded kind of toasted already, probably don't need to be roasted too. :ROFLMAO:

Not Ram - The First solo Album - and it’s when he came home toasted to the gills - but lucky he had Norman Lewisohn to engineer - but sadly he was going deaf very quickly.

Vocals closer to the music? They cut through really well.

You're right - not RAM - McCartney 1.

Nice! Lyrics are hilarious. Please tell me you didn’t use AI for this!

I like the chord changes. I agree with what’s been said, rein in the wide variation in vocal volume with automation and compression.

Other than that, let it ride. No need to polish something this crazy!

The song had a nice charm.

The only mix comment I'd have is that the vocal is dryer than the instrument tracks. It's pretty far up front too. At 1:47 it sounds like you moved closer to the mic. Little pop at 2:00.

Ok then - I'm in the club.
KW - you set the bar pretty impossible.
I sill love that Cathedrals on The River

You guys are scholastic music muscle men. I wanted to shine my dead eyes on Rocky.
And to my dying day JL did not play the harmonica on the intro.

My particular psychological configuration wants a much tighter drum part.

I getting a little Mark Knoppler??? on the vocals in the second one. Very cool

I really like the drum sound. Perfect 70s. Vocal is too disconnected. Needs subtle space. Also needs an LA2A/compressor on the strained/higher parts that disappear when you back off to sing them. Then the closer softer parts have too much proximity effect. I'm probably in the minority here but the out of tune vocals especially near the end don't work. subtly tune them or retract. You can have that haphazard not a care in the world sound but still be somewhat in pitch. This is my opinion on first track.
