Anyway, when it comes to neck relief and action height, my preference on most of my guitars is to have as little relief as possible and a pretty low action. But I find that each guitar is unique in what relief and action you can achieve without buzzing, so they're all just a little different.

If you just take the plunge and shave your head, you don't have to worry about that any more. :p :D

However, this technique only works on fretless instruments. Unless the frets are, like, really really really worn. Or if the relief is over 2", the marble will roll regardless of what's in the way.
