Richard, this sounds really convincing. I think I can get closer to miced sound while playing soft. The hardest stuff to nail is when I snap strings kinda like chickenpicking. The narrow filtering works wonders!

killer track and great guitar sound. for my taste they dont need any reverb. its difficult enough and effective enough to get dry sound to sound so good :)

I think changing closed hihat sample for more natural sounding and introducing some dynamic variation to hihat would do the trick for presence and kick could be simply louder in the mix and maybe more consistent with rythmic pattern of left hand piano part since bass is nonexistent (but I guess...

lately i'm trying to record some sketches but i'm kinda forced to use pickup system instead of mic. I've fiddled around with EQ a lot and now I completetly lost the distance. Is it any close to miked acoustic guitar now? I'd appreciate your comments on sound an music overall. Thanks...

thanks guys! DI seems like good idea. But this raises another question: is the Instrumental input (Hi-Z a guess) of my M-audio ozone appropriate for acoustic pickup systems in terms of impedance ect. (the noise level seems to be high for 24-bit recording)?

Could you recommend an entry level but good sounding condenser mic that would be mainly for the purpose of recording acoustic guitar? Also what characteristics is good if I look for a kinda mic that wouldn't pickup to much of background noise (noisy street ect.)? Is there any good compromise...
