I changed out one of the preamp tubes, and put in a NOS Sylvania JHS 12ax7 Black Plate It uped the input and is very crisp and clean as a whistle, and also sounds great...!!! S

By the way, this was recorded using a BLUE 'Yeti' USB mic and a real tube guitar amp I built from a kit, and effects from a DOD multi pedal. I think it came out OK, but I continue to refine and clean up the sound. New recording coming soon, and I am learning how to add more tracks.... S

Thanks for the feedback,... I have been playing that for like 2 hours at a time, trying to clean it up, and make it the same every time. The wife saysafter 10 minutes I should just stop...... The trick to getting anything down is over and over and over........right? S

Just have to cut the transformer holes into the chassis, then install them, then finish soldering the turret board in, and tube it up for a test. Already have a couple of small cabs ready to go... have wanted to finish one I started quite a while ago, so I can hear what it sounds like.....:)

Recorded something to just have a little of it 'on tape' before the end of the year. I am quite old and not in the best of health so recording anything is a chore,.. not a real ENGINEER type, so tweaking knobs is not my thing I would just like a little feedback on the overall feel of this tune...
