right well I would just though i would give it a try to hype the gain up and add a little thump to the bass maybe add a little thicker sound to the mix but if you think vst's are better ill try that thanks for the help.

I to am trying too connect the L & R outputs from behind my M - Audio preamp interface into the L & R inputs of my 1400 MDX Compressor so I can turn the gain up to my completed work. Record to tape and play it back and record it back on the computer so I have that full tape sound.

i record vocals but i am comfused with what frequenices are best left infiltered i drop alot of my lows but somtime it sounds unreal do i keep any of the lows in the mix at all to help carry my voice

i have pro tools LE 8 that i record my vocals on and i use FL Studio thats i make my beats with i know i can use the both with the plug-in rewire insert, but when i bring FL up into play it plays no sound and my key board wont play any tracks help me please thanks

what are the most common frequencies to cut when clean up your vocals and i pretty mono to so when i rap a tone stands out that i wanna cut or compress but when i do my vocals sound muddy and too low and what frequencies will make my vocals stand out after i compress or cut
