From my experience, I like Acid pro. I have Cubase which is much more advanced, and cakewalk which by my opinion isn't as user friendly as Acid. But yeah, you can do just about anything with acid. I've made songs good enough for radio using acid. Minus the mastering. hehe If you want my advice...
