Fl studio is hell bent on lagging every time i add a few things to the mixer track.. i have a decent enough laptop & 15.8gb of ram available. When i press play the audio is playing a couple of seconds after instead of in sync with the fl studio glider/time stamp thing Any idea how to fix...

Hi, I'm having trouble to decide where to record my vocals. I have roughly 30+ 30mm acoustic panels and same bass traps: Should i set up a small kind of vocal booth in the corner of the room, or spread the panels out around the room (which is pretty big) and then record vocals in the centre...

I think its a problem with studio one as ive taken everything out and its still making the noise whenever i press the record button

ive als just noticed its only when the record button is hit, so even if i dont have record button on there is no noise. with or without the microphone.. hope this help??

yeah im still getting the problem, it started coming through my laptop instead then. Its a crackley high pitch sound and on the master in studio one its full up to the red zone?? only stops if i close studio one

Thanks for the reply. So i have everything set up in my spare room (speakers on, mic setup and plugged in, soundcard on) then i open studio one, open a vocal track and the noise just starts ringing extremely loud... doesnt stop unless i close the daw or turn off the speakers

Thanks for the reply man. But i dont have an actual vocal booth, i have some acoustic panels etc and i was thinking would it be good to put the majority of them in a corner and stand in that corner whilst recording the vocals?

Hi, ive just started recording from home and every time i go to record in studio one, im getting a really loud high pitch sound coming out. I have to quickly close studio one before i annoy the neighbours lol. Ive tried turning down the gain but its still really loud and just doesnt stop...

ive got a reflection filter as well which helps a bit
