Hello, I just moved my studio to a new house and converted the garage into a studio. The new carpet is a medium pile and is really staticicky. I am getting a lot of pops and clicks on my ADATs and thru Pro Tools. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Rock On!

I just acquired a large condensor multi-pattern microphone. It has cardoid, figure eight,and omni-direction modes. It also has dual matching capsules. Sounds cool but could anyone give me examples of when to apply different patterns? Any helpful hints are appreciated. Thanks in advance! Rock On!
