I'm still troubleshooting. No luck so far however, I also have Sony Vegas 14.0 on the computer. I tried recording into Vegas last night and that seemed to work so it looks like something is set wrong in Reaper or one of these last 2 Reaper updates may be giving me headaches. So frustrating.

Looking for advice from those who have used the SM7b, how is it as compared to a SM58, AKG C214, AKG C3000B. Looking for something clean and clear with not quite the bite/sibilance of most condenser mics. Of course for male vocals. country/pop. Not metal or screaming vocals.

Cool, thought I might use my old Antares autotune to touch up some tracks. Then render them in tune to a stem. That way I can turn Auto tune off for the rest of the mix if it is eating into the horsepower.
