Hmmm. I actually like it's appearance, kinda like a tiny 788. From roughly the same era, right? Hope mine doesn't develop problems. Great for travel.

I recently got this. A great sounding, basics only cassette four track, and I believe the last cassette model Tascam made. I really like it's design, size and weight. Anyone else have one?

I recently acquired a 1980 Teac Portastudio 144, myself: It needs a couple of new fader knobs, a push button cover, a bulb and a belt. Otherwise in great shape for 33!

I have now cleaned it, and am locating a few parts. Then, replace the belt and I'll see what else is needed.
