I have a song that I think is comparable to some of the other songs that I can see have been submitted to musicxray. Have you submitted your work? How did it go? Did you get feedback?

Many thanks again to heatmiser. I've remixed with some changes: I warmed up the main guitar Cut some of the bass from the vocals Added delay to the lead (f/b from a friend) I'm pretty happy with the changes - the recommendations were well advised! I still need to line up my drummer though...

Thanks for the feedback heatmiser! Greatly appreciated! Yeah, this is more of a rock tune than a blues tune - just kind of a bluesy progression when I started it. I use ozone for mastering, and I think I have the exciter in the chain. May account for the loudness, but I kinda like that effect...

I'm with ya Brenton. Seems like there's no one out there :) I like this song, although I'm not sure I'm the most qualified to render an opinion on the mix. I'd leave a little bit of space at the beginning of the song - sounds like the first part might be clipped a little? Sounds good to me!
