I am looking into getting Zoom to send a replacement. Customer service said the newer models have a different plastic that shouldn't do this. I am past 3 year warranty, so there will be shipping charges I'll have to pay. Unfortunate, since these things are not cheap. I called 1-631-542-5270 .
