So yeah I've accidentally snapped the iLok key so I can't use Pro Tools 9 anymore. I'm happy with carrying on with Pro Tools 9 to be honest. Also, when i first got pro tools i was 13 so i cant remember any of my iLok account details. I've made a new iLok account now with details i can remember...
I'm currently doing a song where the main part is acoustic guitar and electric guitar lines revolve around that. The only two options I have for recording acoustic is DI and an SM58. Is there a good combination of the mic and DI I can use to get that bold sound. Think Ben Howard esque. Like...

Thanks!edit: got it sorted

However, can somebody reccommend me some computer speakers I can connect into the back of my Saffire 6 USB? I can use either 2 of the 4 RCA's in...
So I'm still using ProTools 9 'cos I'm comfortable with it and I don't see myself needing much in the future anyway. One problem though is that the stock plugins sound fucking AWFUL. Are there any ways round this?
I've started using a bit of reverb on my amp as well as a tiny bit of analogue...
Has anybody tried this, I've gotta wait 'til tomorrow to try it out but has anybody had any experience with using the DS1 to add very light break up with this amp? Clean this amp sings!
