There are many programs known as VST hosts.
Vstack, toby bear has one. I think FX teleport has one as well.
There may be more but that is all that comes to mind.
Oh, and Kore!

Well, any kind of sampler made in the past 10 years can do what is on the audio snippets I heard. To save money you could get the older akai3000 to 6000 range. The akai OS is easy to use and the newer version come with the MESA software. Sample editing on a computer does not take much power at...
When I have a paired stereo signal coming into my mixer(ex: my karma coming into channel 3+4 in my 01X), do I always have to pan hard left and hard right?
What happens if I don't?
Do I have to pan hard left and right with all my synths coming into my mixer?
Another question, I have a Yamaha...
What software are you using? Does it have an "import audio" feature?
If not use a program to convert files to .wav format.
I'm assuming you want to convert to .wav versus aiff or mp3.
Here is a google search on "wma to wav conversion"
There seems to be plenty of programs that can do it, but...
embarrassed to ask!!!
Hello all,
After being away for awhile I am finally able to use my equipment that I bought almost a year ago.
I have a Mogami edition MXL V69 Tube.
It has its own power supply.
I know I have to hang the mic upside down, and let it warm up for about 1/2 hour before...
I had a Roland XP60 and the reverbs on it were terrible. As the sound was trailing out, I could hear all sorts of muffled crackles in the end of the reverb trail. I also had a crackling volume slider. I sent it to a local repair shop to no avail. I had to send the unit to RolandUS to get it...
What you specifically have to look for is if each indivisdual track can be set to "internal" "external" or "both".
Internal will controll just the internal sounds of your keyboard, external will send MIDI data out on that track only and both, well will do both! :)
Most keyboards made in the...
Actually I made a mistake, doing a little more research, the new Ozonic from Maudio does indeed have aftertouch. However it is also an audio device as well. GGrr. If they made the Ozonic without audio I would be all over that! (That jotstick would be great for controlling my Legacy Wavestation).

Actually the Radium does not have aftertouch. It has velocity. Aftertouch is applied by a slider on the Radium. Not very musical.
Velocity sensing is how hard you play the note from one strike to the next. It is a form of modulation (usually called brightness)
Aftertouch is the pressure that is...
Wow, thanks again for the info. This is my first tube mic. The only thing I don't like about it so far is the scarce documentation. One 8X11 sheet of paper. Printed on one side. (Ahem) My cheapie Shure microphone came with more than that! lol.
Anyway, the "instructions" say to use the microphone...
Okay, I listened to the advice given to me in my previous post, and for my personal vocal recordings I decided to get the mic mentioned in the title. Now, this mic comes with a power supply. Now I have a sily newbie question. Do I need to use phantom power on this mic, or does the included power...
