Has the Shure logo got the registered trademark symbol on yours as well as no cross through the Z on LO Z?

I have photos at the dropbox link that show the capsule and wiring. If this is a fake it is an excellent fake as the capsule is metal not plastic.

Ah, yes OK. I just added some more photos of the capsule with the grille still on. I don't want to remove the grille because the only way I know how is to remove the sticker. My scales only go to 200grams and it weighs more than that. I also do not have an Ohm metre or I would have already...

the wires are the correct colour there's a transformer, it even sounds genuine (to my ear) up against an SM58 without grill and a Beta 58A it is just the Fonts and the shoddy bottom anyway i have sent it to shure

The font around the grille appears different to what I have seen before. Also the registered trade make symbol is written after the Shure logo which I have also never seen before. The "LO Z" looks different to what I have seen. It's usually bolder. The word "dynamic" looks smaller than usual.

possibly a really stupid question, but can you build your own tube pre at a reasonable cost? maybe answering my own question, but i spose if it was everyone would do it... yeah?

mmm, i also have a gibson j45, now that is boomy as hell... impossible for me to find a good mike spot... i like the seagull better, & at a quarter of the price!
